Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 12, 2026

This policy explains how LPM Consulting collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website. We keep this simple — because clarity is what we do.

Who We Are

LPM Consulting is a fundraising strategy consultancy based in New York. Principal consultant Leya Petrovani Miller works with nonprofit organizations on development strategy, major gifts, and fundraising leadership.

Questions about this policy can be directed to: hello@leyapm.com

Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: information you give us directly, and information collected automatically when you visit our site.

Information you provide directly:

  • Your name, email address, phone number (optional), and message content submitted through our contact form
  • Information shared when scheduling a consultation call via Google Calendar

Information collected automatically:

  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring URLs
  • IP address (used to determine general geographic region only)
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies, if any analytics tools are active on this site (see our Cookie Notice for details)

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and communicate about potential or active engagements
  • Understand how our website is being used so we can improve it
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, our legal basis for collecting and using your personal information is:

  • Legitimate interest — to respond to inquiries and improve our website
  • Consent — for any optional communications you opt into
  • Contractual necessity — for information required to fulfill a consulting engagement

Third-Party Services

Our site links to third-party platforms including Google Calendar (for scheduling) and LinkedIn. These services operate under their own privacy policies. When you click through to these platforms, their policies govern any data collected.

We do not share your personal information with third parties except as needed to operate our website, respond to inquiries, or as required by law.

Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict how we process your information
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

New York residents: Under the New York SHIELD Act, we are committed to implementing reasonable data security practices to protect your private information.

California residents: Under the CCPA, you have the right to know what data we collect, request deletion, and opt out of any sale of your data. We do not sell personal data.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@leyapm.com.

Data Retention

We retain your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Contact form submissions and inquiry emails are retained for up to two years unless an engagement is initiated, in which case we retain relevant records for the duration of the engagement and a reasonable period thereafter.

Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. No data transmission over the internet is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
